Wigs, ETC, we work together to provide you with the products, fit,
and service that will help you resume your normal lifestyle and
feel good about yourself.
We bill your insurance company and
Medicare for post mastectomy products -- you do not have to pay
any cost of the products that are in the "allowed" price category.
Federal law mandates that Medicare
pays for one breast prosthesis, two if bilateral, every 24 months
and six bras every 12 months. All other insurance companies must
pay the same as Medicare for breast prostheses, but only have to
pay for 2 bras per 12 months. Some policies will allow as many bras
per year as the physician orders.
